The Winter’s Tale
Photos from Shakespeare By The Sea XXXV’s production of THE WINTER’S TALE will be posted soon.
The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival was proud to present its production of William Shakespeare’s THE WINTER’S TALE at the Seabreeze Amphitheater in Carlin Park July 10-13 and 17-20, 2025. Shakespeare’s play about the transformative power of love and forgiveness comes to life in this moving tale. King Leontes is blessed with a beautiful queen, a son and a baby daughter-to-be, but he loses them all when his mind becomes poisoned by jealousy. During the bleak spiritual winter that follows, faithful friends and a divine oracle slowly lead him back to sanity and a glorious reunion with those he lost.
The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival was excited to welcome the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts’ Shakespeare Summer Intensive students for our opening production of THE WINTER’S TALE. They, along with Shakespeare by the Sea presenting sponsors Gary & Katherine Parr, were joined by hip-hop artist and entertainer Devon “The Sonnet Man” Glover. The students enjoyed a picnic dinner and participated in talks with the Company actors. The special night followed their week-long intensive, where they experienced an in-depth exploration of Shakespeare’s works, Elizabethan history, design, dance, and more from expert artists, educators, and industry professionals.
