Shakespeare for the Masses

Since 1990

The Shakespeare Festival has proudly offered free, outdoor productions for 34 years in Carlin Park, Jupiter. Its annual summer event is the highlight of the programming at the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Seabreeze Amphitheatre, which was built for the Festival. Five years ago PBSF expanded its offerings into the western communities with Shakespeare by the Palms in Royal Palm Beach.

This “Must-See” event of the summer welcomes over 5,000 guests in its two week, eight-night run. It is heavily featured in all major South Florida print media, and a top promoted event by Discover the Palm Beaches during July. The Festival partners with area hotels each year, offering a discount rate for drive-in ‘staycations’, and the production’s free admission draws a varied audience from every socioeconomic level.

Families with children, college students, seniors and couples from Palm Bay and Okeechobee to Miami come each night to enjoy an evening of professional theatre. Food and beverage vendors are available on site, and members of the audience often bring their own elaborate picnic to enjoy with friends and family. The following are a list of sponsorship opportunities and the benefits of joining in support.
