Daniel Gordon serves as the chair of theatre and dance at Winthrop University, in Rock Hill, SC. As a professional theatrical lighting and scenic designer, he has designed for Palm Beach Drama Works, the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, the Royal New Zealand Ballet, and the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. He has served the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival and its annual Shakespeare by the Sea productions for most of its 30-plus years. He is active with the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) and the National Association of Schools of Theatre, currently serving on its board of directors.
