Thanks for Making Our Production of Hamlet a Great Success!

Presented in partnership with
Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation.

FROM THE PRODUCERS

When the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival formed a quarter of a century ago we had a simple mission: Bring the everlasting words of William Shakespeare to life for everyone in Palm Beach County to enjoy. Twenty-five years later we are so proud that more than a million people have seen and been inspired by one of our productions. The “play-in-the-park” became the “reason to stay in south Florida during the summer” for some residents, and became a life’s dream for many young students. One such student includes our late director Dr. Kevin Crawford who began as an actor and ended up dedicating his life to bringing the wonder and beauty of the Bard’s works to thousands of students and patrons each year. We are proud to say we have grown over the years, expanding to produce shows throughout the year while increasing our outreach education. Looking ahead, we have exciting plans to create even more direct impact upon the lives of our residents, but first we would like to acknowledge those who helped us get where we are today. These past and present supporters include: Jacqueline Anne Silverman, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation, Commissioner Karen Marcus, Burt Reynolds, Betty J. Divosta (Divosta Homes), Carl K. Schenk (Mobil Land Corp.), Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery, Chamber Theatre of the Palm Beaches, Robert and Bea Snyder, Del Tenney, Margot Hartman Tenney, The Hartman Foundation, Palm Beach State College, Nancy Denholm, Publix Supermarket Charities, the Palm Beach County Cultural Council, Town of Jupiter, Jupiter Courier, Jupiter Bay Resort, Daigler Design Group, Palm Beach Atlantic University, The Palm Beach Post, 90.7 FM, ClearChannel Radio, Florida Weekly, Guanabanas, The Fresh Market, many other community organizations and most importantly, our dedicated patrons who join us each year, rain or shine. “(We) can no answer make but, thanks, and thanks, and ever thanks.”
