Sharing Shakespeare

The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival has a long history of educational outreach and offerings in Palm Beach County and has partnered with local colleges, high schools and universities throughout its history, offering workshops, workships and internships each year. Guest artists and directors give master classes and workshops each summer through partnerships with the Palm Beach County Library System, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Palm Beach State College and The Benjamin School, among others.

Thanks to grant from PNC ArtsAlive, the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival is bringing Shakespeare’s works to life and into the classroom of every student in Palm Beach County through its Sharing Shakespeare program. Complete with study guide, expert video lessons, and soon, a full video presentation of its annual production, Sharing Shakespeare will be an invaluable tool for educators look for a way to impart the magic of The Bard’s work to those who may not have the opportunity to travel and see a performance.

Please Donate

Thanks to a few special donors and the PNC ArtsAlive grant, we were able to do this special production with professional actors and technicians and artists working during the COVID-19 pandemic. This allowed us to continue our mission of bringing Shakespeare’s works to life for everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status. Unfortunately, the Festival was unable to do our Shakespeare by the Sea program in person, which is where a large portion of our funds come to support our following year’s production. If you are able to support the Shakespeare Festival in any way, please consider hitting the link below, and making a donation of any amount at this time. The artists, and the community, are truly grateful for your consideration.
